Born in 1991, is an artist and illustrator based in Cape Town, South Africa. Her practice is deeply rooted in introspection and emotional nuance, reflected in figures rendered with flowing lines and shadowy contrasts.

With a background in graphic design and illustration, Careshia’s journey began in advertising before transitioning to online education, focusing specifically on illustration.

At the start of 2021, she embraced full-time self-employment, dedicating herself entirely to fine art and illustration. Her mixed media approach on canvas showcases a distinctive visual language, characterised by detailed, wild visuals that exude a magnificent sense of calm and flux.
